Four Foods Fight Thrombus, Keep Vessels Clean.

Once a blood clot forms, it may cause a blockage in vital organs such as the heart, brain or lungs, leading to serious diseases such as stroke, heart disease, pulmonary embolism, etc., which brings great threats to our lives.
Some people may feel that the problem of blood clots is far away from themselves, until a physical examination finds that the blood vessels are blocked, or sudden chest pain, dizziness and other discomfort, and realize the seriousness of the problem.

In fact, the process of blood clots is silent, and many people will not regret that they did not take preventive measures earlier until they have severe symptoms, but in fact, preventing blood clots is not complicated, and a few small details in life can help us to stay away from blood clots. Food is one of the most important weapons.
So, what food is blood clots most afraid of? Through my years of clinical experience in hospitals, I have come up with 4 foods that are very effective in clearing blood vessels and preventing blood clots.

Eat some every day, not only can help clean the blood vessels, reduce the risk of blood clots, but also greatly reduce the incidence of cardiovascular disease, these clot “buster” food, they may not be as common as spinach, fish oil, etc., but the actual effect is often ignored.
Black wolfberry

When it comes to blood clot prevention, many people know some “regular” foods, such as garlic, Onions, etc. However, I often find in clinical practice that black wolfberry is a food that is ignored by many people, but its effect on preventing blood clots is very significant.

Black goji berries are rich in natural anthocyanins, which can help clear blood vessels and prevent blood clots through a variety of mechanisms.

A patient told me that because he often felt chest tightness and fatigue, when he went to the hospital to check, he found that his blood cholesterol level is high, and the blood vessels have a certain blockage.
Doctors advised him to change his lifestyle and add some foods that have the effect of clearing blood vessels, and after several months of conditioning, his symptoms significantly improved and his test results improved. In this process, the black wolfberry became one of his daily food.

He soaked water with black wolfberry every day, with a reasonable diet, significantly reduced the fat content in the blood, improve the health of blood vessels, anthocyanins in black wolfberry can effectively reduce free radicals in the blood, help blood vessel dilation, improve blood flow, thereby reducing the risk of thrombosis.
Sweet potato

Sweet potatoes, not only a delicious meal on the table, it is also the natural enemy of blood clots, sweet potatoes are rich in dietary fiber, can help reduce blood cholesterol, reduce the accumulation of garbage in the blood vessels.

At the same time, the potassium in sweet potatoes has a good regulatory effect on blood pressure, and blood pressure instability is one of the triggers for thrombosis.
A patient told me that she felt unstable blood pressure every day, often experiencing symptoms of dizziness and weakness, and often went to the hospital to check, and found that her blood lipids were also high and there were signs of slight blockage of blood vessels.

On the advice of her doctor, she started incorporating sweet potatoes into her diet, and after a few months, her blood pressure was well under control and her lipid levels were down.

The fiber content of sweet potatoes is able to effectively adsorb excess fat and cholesterol in the blood, carrying them away, thus reducing the risk of blood clots. Eating a little sweet potato every day in moderation can not only provide enough energy, but also help clear blood vessels and prevent the formation of blood clots.
asparagus

Asparagus, this seemingly unremarkable green vegetable, turns out to play a significant role in cleaning blood vessels and preventing blood clots. Asparagus is rich in selenium, a natural antioxidant that can scavenge free radicals in blood vessels and protect blood vessel walls from damage.

In addition, quercetin, a special substance in asparagus, inhibits blood clotting and helps prevent blood clots from forming.

I treated a patient who, due to genetic factors, had a tendency to clot and form blood clots, and after a detailed analysis, the doctor recommended that he include asparagus in his diet.
In fact, preventing blood clots does not need complicated drugs or treatment, a few foods in the daily diet can play a very important role. Black goji berries, sweet potatoes, asparagus and broccoli, these four foods have a unique advantage in helping to clear blood vessels and prevent blood clots.

Especially in winter, the cold, blood vessels are easy to shrink, blood flow is blocked, and the risk of thrombosis is aggravated. Therefore, adding some foods to the daily diet that help clear blood vessels is critical to preventing blood clots and protecting cardiovascular health.
